Bayer CropScience’s new fungicidal seed treatment Emesto™ (active ingredient: penflufen) has received its first registration worldwide – in the United Kingdom. Emesto™ is used in potato growing. It has outstanding efficacy against black scurf (Rhizoctonia solani), significantly enhances potato quality and increases the marketable yield. The market launch of Emesto™ in the U.K. is scheduled for the 2012 growing season.
